As Valentine's Day is fast approaching, it is only necessary to showcase some festive nails. Anyone who knows me knows I loath the hallmark holiday, but for the rest of the world--specifically those with significant others to dote on--Valentine's is not the equivalent of the apocalypse. So, when my fantastic roommate, who silently suffers in a room that has a perma-smell of acetone asked for a Valentine's mani, I just couldn't say no. We went with a simple, but sweet design; the heart is for love...obvs, and if the pointer and ring finger nails look like a Victoria's Secret bag then YAY that's what they are supposed to look like (because nothing capitalizes more on Valentine's Day than VS). For the look I used Butter London nail foundation, and then a coat of Butter London's Teddy Girl on every nail but the one on the middle finger. On that one I did a coat of Butter's Primrose Hill Picnic (which I love to bits and am current;y sporting on my toes) and then did the two stripes on the VS nails. With a little of Butter's Cream Tea, I added the lovely little heart on the middle finger. Finished it up with Butter London's top coat and vuala!
